Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. By signing up for this online event you are agreeing to receive further information related to the event, including, but not limited to, any updates about the event or feedback surveys after the event takes place. We will not contact you for any other purposes without your consent. Of course, you can update your email communication preferences or unsubscribe from future emails at any point.

Online event attendance is for registered participants only and registration information should not be forwarded on to third parties; doing so may hinder your own access, as online event attendance is by prior registration only. Online event participation may require you to configure your software settings on your web-device upon first use, or require you to download the software for your operating system.

Recording online event

GRI reserves the right to record the audio, video, any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the online event. GRI may decide to use the recording in external communication referring to the event or GRI, such as on its websites, GRI's social media channels, or other publications.

Liability disclaimer

GRI cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting in any way from (a) any errors in or omissions from the online event services or materials available or not included therein, (b) the unavailability or interruption to the supply of the online event services or any features thereof or any materials, (c) participant's use or misuse of the online event services or materials (d) the participant's use of any equipment in connection with the online event services, (e) the content of the online event materials and the services, (f) any delay or failure in performance beyond the reasonable control of GRI, or (g) any negligence of GRI or its employees, contractors or agents in connection with the performance of its obligations under this agreement.

Should, for any reason outside GRI's control (including but not limited to technical issues, acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and/or industrial action) the program or speakers change, or the event be cancelled, GRI will endeavor to re-schedule, but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by registrants.

The registrant takes part in the online event at his/her own risk. Furthermore, GRI may not be held liable for any costs or damages incurred resulting from acts outside of its control including but not limited to force majeure, technical issues, strikes and/or public manifestations. Only written arrangements are binding. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of these conditions.

In any disputes that may arise concerning the execution or interpretation of the present terms and conditions related to the event registration, both parties agree that they will be subject to Dutch law and that the commercial courts of Amsterdam will be competent, without prejudice to GRI's right to initiate proceedings under the laws and before the courts of the participant's registered office in the event any sums are due by the participant to GRI.
